Yellow Monarch Butterflies surround this gourd sculpture, and in the middle there is a "faux" air plant with a cute little butterfly accent. The inside of the gourd is treated with a technique that looks like hammered metal in a bronze color It sits on top of a recycled candle holder. I love to be able to incorporated recycled items in my art whenever I can. The top is accented with a glass finial to tie in the glass base. The flowers are accented with a material that gives them dimension.
This sculpture measures approximately 10 1/2 " to the top of the finial and the width is approximately 6".
Mother's day is right around the corner and would make a wonderful gift for Mom, or anyone who loves and appreciated butterflies and nature.
