The Chickadee is hand painted on a Stained gourd, with dogwood branches surrounding it. The design is then drilled, by hand, to emit the light and show the pattern in the evening. The sides have carved filigree cutwork to enhance the light. The light used is a 5w LED candelabra bulb, with is included. I only recommend the use of 5 watt LED bulbs. These are readily available when the time come to replace it.
This would make a wonderful gift to give Mom for Mother's Day or for any occasion.
